How to Add a Team Member & Choosing Data Views

Brokeredge provides several ways to integrate your team into your CRM, allowing you to collaborate more effectively. Once you have a team member subscribed to Brokeredge you can now create the viewing options for them. This will specify what data they will be able to see and access.

Steps to Add a Team Member with person who is already an existing Brokeredge User:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Select the tab Team Members.
  3. Click Invite an Existing User.

  1. Add the details in such as name, email address and select their Team Role

  1. Take a look at the Dropdown Options for the desired Data view you want to be able to allow them access 'Team Member's View' and the data you want to see of theirs 'Owners View'.

*Note these can be changed at any time.*

You will select the view that you as the 'Owner' of the data see of theirs

Owners View:

You will also be choosing the data that your team member has access to of your data and customize what each member sees using the 'Team Members' tab in your profile. There are four view options:

  1. Assistants

  1. Underwriter

  1. Direct Report

  1. 2 Way Shared Data

The team members view defaults to the most common view set up, but you can edit/change this with the dropdown 'Team Members View' to change the access they have to the data view settings

You can also customize and edit the view you have to their data as needed with the 'Owners View' dropdown.


Note: if they haven't been subscribed yet you first need them to have a subscription before setting the data views available to them as a team. If you are not looking to pay for their subscription have them sign up with the web sign up page Brokeredge.ca/pricing


*If you are looking to purchase their subscription follow these steps:

Adding New Team Members:

  • If you've chosen to pay for your team and want to add them, you can subscribe a new user yourself by going to My Profile >Manage my Subscriptions> Subscribe a New User to My Team

and the subscription will be added to your subscription for payment.
