Generate a Test Email for Automated Emails
You can always check to see what an email will look like on the receiving end by generating a test email.
- Open the Automated email and edit according to your preference
- Once you are ready to test it to see what it looks like on the receiving end, select 'Generate Test Email'.
- Notice the 'To' and 'From' fields are pre-filled. It will always be set to send to yourself, the user.
You must select a random contact in which you are selecting to be used in order for the merge fields to fill in, such as a name. This is just a sample data contact. The email will be sent to you.
- Select 'Send Test Email to Yourself and a copy will then be sent. Go to your inbox to check the copy.
