Chatting with Team Members on Brokeredge

Brokeredge makes it easy to collaborate on deals or contacts by allowing you to chat with team members—such as an assistant—directly within the system.

How It Works

• Adding a Comment:
  • On a mortgage deal, you can leave a comment in the chat section.
  • You can write a generic note or address it specifically to a team member.
• Addressing a Team Member:
  • To direct your message to a specific person (e.g., your assistant), add their name in the comment.
  • For example: “Hey assistant, please review the latest updates on this deal.”
• Receiving Notifications:
  • Once you send the message, the addressed team member will receive a notification (look for the bell icon in their email or within the system).
  • They can click the notification to view your comment in detail.
• Additional Communication Options:
  • You can also configure your settings to enable additional note processing if needed.

This chat feature streamlines internal communication, making it simple to collaborate and ensure everyone stays informed about deal or contact updates.
