Active Lead Sub-Statuses

Active leads are individuals actively looking to secure a mortgage. These are the contacts you're engaged with to guide them toward a mortgage application, after which they transition to the client stage and begin their mortgage journey.

  • Automatic Assignment:

    When you create a new lead (by entering a name and email), the system automatically assigns them the borrower stage "Active Lead." Additionally, a sub-status field is set:

    • Default: "New" for most entries.
    • Alternate: "Discovery Call Booked" if the lead comes through Calendly.
  • Sub-Statuses & Stages:

    You can further refine your active leads by using segregated sub-statuses. This helps you customize automations based on exactly where each lead is in the process. For example, as leads move from "New" to "Contact" and then to "Discovery Call Booked," you can trigger specific automated tasks or emails.

  • Visual Management:

    A dedicated canvas view on the contacts page lets you see all your active leads and their current stages at a glance. You can easily drag and drop leads between stages as needed.

    Automation Triggers:

    Once you’ve segmented your active leads, you can set up automated workflows. These can include:

    • Automated tasks (reminders, follow-ups, etc.)
    • Automated emails triggered by specific lead statuses.

If you prefer simplicity, you can stick with the default "Active Lead" status. But for a more granular communication flow, breaking down active leads into detailed sub-statuses is a great way to drive customized automations.
